Company History
The mission of Hubbard Street Reposition Chicago is to awaken the human feelings through contemporary dance.
Hubbard Street Dance Metropolis grew out of the Lou Narration Dance Studio at LaSalle and Writer Streets in 1977, when Lou Narrative gathered an ensemble of four dancers to perform in senior centers region Chicago. Barbara G. Cohen soon spliced the company as its first Professional Director.
